Many of our favorite venues, cities, and event destinations have noise ordinances and regulations. These hush-hush rules typically require the quiet hours to start at a certain time – often long before we’re ready to stop the party!

The way to get around the noise ordinance and keep the party going? Silent. Discos

Hush Parties, also known as silent discos, were born out of necessity but have been rapidly growing in popularity out of preference. 

Silent discos are a unique way to have fun with music in an individually curated way. Each person has their OWN HEADSET where they can control and guide their experience through the thrilling, pulsating music beating just for them.

Powell Weddings & Events offers the most cutting-edge silent disco technology. Our high-tech headsets give each guest the ability to switch between three channels, literally having access to three different DJs in one party.

Don’t like the song? Just switch channels.

Each headset glows one of three colors based on which station you’re listening to. So as you’re cruising around the venue —  grooving to the beat of your choice —  you look up to see another person with great taste grooving to the same color, same beat, same song. For that one incredible moment, you're in sync with another human in a way you’ve never known before.

Our top-of-the-line headsets are excellent for multilingual parties as well. These high-tech headsets allow non-fluent guests to follow along in your party, ceremony, or gathering in their own language and feel the intense emotions that any beautiful celebration evokes.

Powell’s Silent Disco Booking Process

  • Step 1: Contact Us

    The first step to putting your Silent Disco in motion is to complete our Contact Form. Once completed, we’ll reach out and schedule an initial consultation to go over your needs and pricing for your event’s silent disco.

    Next, we’ll create a contract and proposal for your event and send it over for you to confirm.

  • Step 2: Get Booked!

    Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, we’ll officially book your event and secure the date on our calendar.

  • Step 3: Event Prep

    Two to four weeks prior to your event, we’ll reach out to confirm the details of your pick-up or delivery time.

    Once confirmed, we’ll make sure all headsets are charged, sanitized, and packed up for your event pick-up or delivery.

  • Step 4: Event Day

    If you’re picking up the equipment, we’ll agree on a time and location ahead of time. Once we meet, you’ll receive and inspect the equipment before heading off to your event.

    If we’re delivering the equipment, Powell Wedding & Events A/V tech will arrive on site two hours prior to the start of your event to set up and sound check the equipment.

  • Thoroughly...

    During the event, either the client or a Powell tech will check headsets in and out, sanitizing between each patron.

    Once the event is over, either the client or Powell tech will check in and inspect the equipment, and the equipment is returned to Powell Weddings & Events at the agreed upon time.

  • Step 5: After the Event

    Once the event is over, either the client or Powell tech will check in and inspect the equipment, and the equipment is returned to Powell Weddings & Events at the agreed upon time.

    The client is responsible for any damage to the equipment while at their event.

    Two weeks following the event, we’ll send out a thank you email, along with a review request.

    Base Price $1,050

    Additions:

    • 25 extra headsets (up to 250 total) - $175
    • Two additional transmitters - $150 each

    *All prices are for a daily equipment rental only. Pick up will be the day before the event, and drop off will be the day after the event. If Powell is providing the A/V tech, headsets will be delivered prior to the event start time and taken with the tech after the event is over.
